The Serenity Prayer

God grant me the serenity
to accept the things I cannot change;
courage to change the things I can;
and wisdom to know the difference.

Living one day at a time;
Enjoying one moment at a time;
Accepting hardships as the pathway to peace;
Taking, as He did, this sinful world
as it is, not as I would have it;
Trusting that He will make all things right
if I surrender to His Will;
That I may be reasonably happy in this life
and supremely happy with Him
Forever in the next.
Amen.

Today i woke up to a congested baby, this is not new. He is this way almost every morning, however it seemed a little worse today (plus he has another procedure in the morning) so i call my pediatrician and of course she wants to see us. i love my pediatrician, she is so on top of things considering my sons condition...
its just such an ordeal to get out so early in the mornings plus it always seems to be around his morning nap.  So we get ready to leave and he poops.... so we go to change him, he then te te's everywhere... all over himself his outfit and the changing table, we are now LATE!!!! Fabulous!!!!!!

So we get there.....these people know us on a first name basis by now...... Same thing...
Out of car seat,
take his temp.... 98.3
weight...... 12lbs 1.6oz...
WAIT 12lbs 1.6oz..!!!!???
seriously??? this means he has not gained an ounce in a week.... this is not like my son, this is NOT good! i go into panic mode (of course) my pedi does not... she checks him out, no infection, no big deal to her.....

He has been fussy almost every time he has nursed.. I blamed it on gas... apparently not it... so now I'm stuck with pumping the next 24hrs making sure he gets enough......FUN FUN.......

So this is where the serenity prayer comes in, its always been something that i have try ed to remember, and try to do, this prayer also always reminds me of my dad... he used to read it often and also try ed to live by it.
anyways Jax is now napping and I'm doing this..... this is a great way for me to vent.... so thanks for listening....Oh and if you could keep my little guy in your prayers tonight and tomorrow... thanks again!
