Waiting........

Something I've never been good at....

We started the morning at 5:15am for his last chance to have breast milk, thankfully he took 4oz easily. But then spit up.... Just a little though.

Head to the hospital at 6:45am trying to be able to give him some pedialyte before 7:45(his cut off for anything) we get to Saginaw and stop to try and give it to him.... Of course he doesn't want it!!!! This is the last thing he can have until after surgery.... Which is scheduled for 11:15, if they aren't behind!

We have a appointment with the surgeon before at 8:30. We get there and we wait, and wait, and WAIT..... It's now 8:45.... We're supposed to check in at the hospital at 9:30. The nurse comes out to say he's running behind and won't be there till 9:30!!!! My only thoughts are MY SONS STARVING!!!! 9:30 comes and goes.... We are still WAITING... About 9:50-10 she comes to tell us to head to the hospital and check in and the Dr will meet us there before surgery.

So we head to check-in. We get that done and go to the 2nd floor to surgery check-in there. The waiting room is packed and all waiting on the same surgeon... Plus I'm a germaphobe... And Jax is screaming.... Great... Finally they call us back to the room... The nurses come in and are so great with him, in no time he's talking and smiling ( he's kinda of a ham) so time starts to go by a little quicker.

They took him back at about 11(surprisingly ahead of schedule) So that puts us back to WAITING...
and this time we have to set by a phone and the nurse calls and lets us know every things going well and that they are done.... so its extremely nerve racking.....

About 11:30 they call our name and the phones for us. My stomach drops every time. Hunter answers, I'm still on pins and needles praying everything is fine. And it is!!!!! FEEEWWWWWW!!!!!!!! He is out and in recovery! They will come get us when we can see him! It feels like a ton of bricks have been lifted!!!!
THANK YOU LORD!!!!!!! We are truly blessed...

Back in recovery our sweet boy was still sleeping sound, he looked so peaceful. We are finally home and I'm pooped!!!! its almost dinner time and I'm thinking pizza or something easy....

Thanks for all the prayers,
