Weekend In Wimberley.......

We headed out on friday afternoon, the drive went pretty well. this was our first road trip/vacation so I was a little worried that it may go horribly. The trip would normally take about 4hrs BUT since we had to stop and nurse two times it took about 6. Jax does great in the car so he slept most of the ride. When we arrived we all went out by the pool to relax and enjoy the view(which was beautiful) and watch my nephew swim.
we ended the evening cooking burgers!!!
Saturday Hunter and I decided to take a quick trip over to Gruene to have lunch and walk around.

Headed back that afternoon to enjoy the outdoors some more and relax. Somehow Ulric talked Hunter into swimming (the pool was freezing)

Jax even put his speedo on for everyone!!! lol

we were all having a blast and then Im not sure what happened but Jax decided he didnt want to nap.......so this made for a LONG evening, finally got him settled and to bed. He had a good night only up twice to nurse. Headed back early this morning after stopping to eat the bluebonnett cafe in marble falls (very good).

All in all the trip was a success!!! It was great to get away!!!
Now back to laundry, cooking and cleaning!!!!!!!!!!

OH........and I must of had my head in the clouds as soon as we got home I was gunna run to friends for dinner while Hunter mowed.... well i knew he was parked behind me..... but decided to back up anyways!!!

SERIOUSLY CHELSEY!!!!!! WHERE IS MY HEAD!!!!!
~everything was fine, didnt hurt either vehicle!!! Thank the lord! My husband would have killed me!!!!

Learning..........

I titled this learning because thats what I've been doing a lot of here lately....

Learning how to be a mom comes with a lot......diapers, nursing, baths, sleeping (or the lack of), plus then theres the unexpected.
Which in our case there was a lot of.....Having my son rushed to a childerens hospital at 2am only the second day in the hospital had lots of learnig to come...
Learning- to truely trust in God and that he will take care of you
-to trust others with your newborn
-to take things as they come
and many many more when it came to that.....
And now that we are home learning to let things go, and that it truely is the simple things in life that are great!

Now learning how to do this..(kinda).....Please forgive me, I should have done more LEARNING in english class...so if there is a miss spelt word or phrase, please look past it! Im really looking forward to this experience!
